Intended use
Sodium Citrate 3.8% tubes are used to collect, transport and process blood for testing plasma or whole blood in the clinical laboratory.
Principle
Coagulation tubes are filled with buffered tri — sodium citrate. The mixing ratio is 1part citrate to 9 parts blood with advantages of high accurate blood — to — additive ratio. It can provide an excellent condition for the blood coagulation studies.
Design
It is composed of plastic tube containing Sodium Citrate 3.8% as anticoagulant.
